Dr. Himansu Shah is well respected by patients and colleagues alike for his warm, caring, and compassionate nature. He has devoted his career providing exceptional plastic surgery to patients. Dr. Shah received his bachelor’s degree from Stevens Institute of Technology with honors and his medical degree from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He completed his general surgery training at SUNY-HSC at Brooklyn New York and completed his Plastic Surgery training at Temple university in Philadelphia. Then Dr. Shah and his family migrated to Las Vegas for aesthetic, hand, and micro-surgery fellowship at University of Nevada School of Medicine.

Before starting private plastic surgery practice, Dr. Shah was an Assistant Professor and Assistant Program Director in Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at University of Nevada School of Medicine. He has published several articles in peer review journals and chapters in textbooks.

Dr. Shah has also presented at numerous national meetings. Although Dr. Shah enjoys all facets of plastic surgery, his areas of special interest are aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the breast and body contouring especially after massive weight loss.
